Flow Cytometry Tests

 AVAILABLE TESTS

 CLINICAL INDICATIONS
IMMUNE STATUS EVALUATION
Lymphocyte Subsets Used to evaluate the immune status of individuals and assess disease progression. Meets CDC guidelines for HIV monitoring.
CD4 (T4)/CD 8 (T8) Used to monitor HIV positive individuals, to assess their immune status and determine necessity for therapy.
CD4 (T4) Lymphocytes only Used to monitor HIV positive individuals.
CD3 (T3) Analysis and Subsets Used to monitor effectiveness of immunosuppressive therapy in transplant patients.
CD3 Analysis Only Used to monitor effectiveness of immunosuppressive therapy in transplant patients.
IMMUNOPHENOTYPING
Leukemia/Lymphoma/Plasma Cell Panel Used to differentiate reactive from neoplastic lesions, to subclassify lymphoma, and to define the lineage and developmental stage of hematopoietic neoplasms.
DNA CELL CYCLE ANALYSIS
DNA Cell Cycle Analysis Used to predict ploidy and proliferative activity of certain solid tumors. The finding of DNA aneuploid and/or a high S-phase fraction predicts decreased disease free and overall survival times in many malignancies.
